Welcome to Introduction to Technology Tools in the Learning Process

The scholars in our graduate class will use this blog to review our readings and information. Also, any other topic can be posted for discussion.

  1. I enjoyed reading this article and was stunned to realize that old Rip would have been totally at home in my classrom! (That is one of the main reasons why I am taking this class - so I don't have to rely on chalk and enthusiasm so much anymore). We are a big country and slow to change, but the innovation is out there. I agree that we need to teach students how to think and analyze, not just memorize. As a foreign language teacher, I have always known the value of being sensitive to another culture and of being conversant in different languages. But we teachers need to get better at the "new" language-computers-to speak our students' language, and also to help them in becoming better global citizens.
